Donald Trump Packs The House In Rocky Mount

Trump energizes his supporters

At 5:00 a.m., lines formed to get a seat to view the 45th President of the United States speak at 1 p.m. President Trump had a few speakers before him such as Congressman Byron Donalds, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, and congressional candidate Laurie Buckhaut. The energy in the event center was electric as Trump's supporters chanted "USA" and "Trump". President Trump entered a packed house inside the Rocky Mount Event Center, where he received a warm welcome. Trump talked about immigration, the oil and gas industry, North Carolina furniture manufacturing, and the heartbreaking damage caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. President Trump mentioned President Biden's comment about Trump supporters being "garbage", evoking strong emotion from the crowd. Trump touted his record as President and bashed the four years of economic hardship created by the Biden-Harris administration. Trump's final message to his supporters was to go out and vote early.
