For Immediate Release: Nash County GOP Chairman: Mayor Owen H. Strickland II

January 1, 2026:

The Nash County Republican Party will hold two (2) Candidate Forums for

the Voters of Nash County on January 20, 2026 at 6:30 pm and January 27,

2026 at 6:30 pm. Both of these events will be held at the Elks Lodge in

Nashville, North Carolina located at 901 E. Birchwood Drive, Nashville, NC

27856.

The 1st Biennial Republican - Candidate Forum on January 20, 2026 at 6:30

pm will showcase Republican Candidates for US Senate, US House –

Congressional District 1, NC Senate - District 11, NC House – District 25

and District 24, as well as our Candidates for NC Supreme Court and the

NC Court of Appeals.

The 1st Biennial Republican – Candidate Forum for Nash County on

January 27, 2026 at 6:30 pm will exclusively focus on Republican

Candidates running for Nash County offices. During this event we will

Highlight our Candidates for District Attorney – District 8, District Court

Judge – District 8, Nash County Sheriff, Nash County – Clerk of Superior

Court and Nash County Commissioner in both District 5 and District 7.

We invite ALL Registered Voters to attend each of these opportunities to

hear from the Candidates that wish to represent YOU at these varied

levels of our government. We also invite every interested individual and

we will have an opportunity for you to Register to Vote prior to and after

this event.
